Date:5/28/2008

Direct Response TV Leader Guthy-Renker Attracts yet Another Celebrity for

America's Best-Selling Acne Treatment

PALM DESERT, Calif., May 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Guthy-Renker announced today that Ryan Sheckler, famed skateboarder and television star, has been chosen as the newest face of America's best-selling acne treatment, Proactiv Solution. Known for its wide range of celebrity supporters, Proactiv will feature Sheckler in the brand's 10th national television program, which will begin airing nationwide this June. The new cycle will serve as a unique platform for Sheckler to share his experience of fighting acne with sufferers of all ages.

As an athlete and celebrity, Sheckler is constantly under scrutiny for his appearance and credits Proactiv for keeping his skin clear and blemish-free. "Proactiv started working for me in the first week, now I use Proactiv everyday. When you put it on your face, you can feel it actually getting the dirt out. It feels like you have a brand new face."

Similar to Proactiv's countless loyal users, Sheckler remains a fan of the product line because of the consistent and effective results that it provides. "As a skater, I'll always take chances, but I don't take chances with my skin. That's why I'm down with Proactiv."

"Celebrities and devoted users alike continue to speak out about Proactiv Solution because of the amazing, life-changing results it provides," said Ken Mahony, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Proactiv Solution. "We are very excited to work with Ryan because he relates specifically to our younger demographic, many of whom are often too embarrassed to take control of their skin problems. We believe he will inspire them to take action."

Part of the success and growing admiration for the direct response industry can be attributed to Proactiv Solution and the brand's marketing company, Guthy-Renker, one of the world's most respected TV-driven companies with sales
