Professional Healthcare Ranked Among the Top 25 Percent of Home Health Care Providers in the Country for 2008
Date:10/28/2008

ANNANDALE, Va., Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Professional Healthcare Resources, Inc., one of the largest proprietary Medicare certified home healthcare agencies based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, is proud to announce that it has been named to the 2008 Homecare Elite. The selection was made by Outcomes Concepts Systems, Inc. (OCS) a Seattle, WA based healthcare information agency and Decision Health(TM), a Rockville, MD based healthcare publisher.

This annual review identifies the top 25 percent of home healthcare agencies nation-wide, ranked by an analysis of performance measures in quality outcomes, quality improvement and financial performance. The data used for this analysis was compiled from publicly available information on Medicare's Home Health Compare and CMS Cost Reports.

The 2008 HomeCare Elite also indicates those providers who are included in the Top 100 and Top 500 providers nationwide. Our Washington, DC branch made the list for the third year in a row and was picked as one of the Top 500 agencies in the country. All our Virginia branches (located in Annandale, Richmond, Roanoke, and Norfolk) and our Lanham, MD branch were ranked in the Top 25 Percent list. In 2007, Professional Healthcare Resources had 6 branches on the HomeCare Elite list, and repeated that performance in 2008.

"The 2008 HomeCare Elite winners exemplify a commitment to providing their patients with optimum care while performing at the highest level", said Nancy Buller, Senior Director of Marketing Communications at OCS, Inc. "We congratulate Professional Healthcare on being one of the Top home care agencies in the country."

Ron DeCesare, CEO of Professional Healthcare said "I am proud to be part of a team that has been a HomeCare Elite winner for three years in a row, every year it has been awarded. Our clinical teams work hard to provide the best possible healthcare for the patients we serve, and it shows in our patient care outcomes."
