Professional HealthCare, a leading provider of home nursing, rehabilitation therapy, hospice care and non-medical caregiver services in Northern California and Utah, has been approved for Medicare licenses at its Professional Healthcare at Home office in San Jose, California, and its Haven Healthcare office in Layton, Utah

Walnut Creek, CA (PRWEB) August 29, 2009 -- Professional HealthCare, a leading provider of home nursing, rehabilitation therapy, hospice care and non-medical caregiver services in Northern California and Utah, has been approved for Medicare licenses at two additional locations: its Professional Healthcare at Home office in San Jose, California, and its Haven Healthcare office in Layton, Utah. Among its 13 service offices throughout California and Utah, nine are now fully Medicare-certified for skilled home health services.

"As a full-service agency, we offer both medical and non-medical home care services, and each office that provides medical services requires Medicare certification," explains John Griscavage, CEO. "The continued expansion of Medicare-licensed offices and growth in the staffing of skilled clinicians is part of our strategy to be highly responsive to the home health needs of the communities we serve." The majority of the company's clients are elderly adults who appreciate access to home health and caregiver services in order to remain in their homes as long as possible. "By offering a full range of both medical and non-medical home care services," continues Griscavage, "we are able to provide continuity of care that enhances our clients' overall comfort and quality of life."

Professional HealthCare is comprised of three divisions that offer both medical and non-medical home care to families throughout Northern California and Utah. Its Professional HealthCare at Home division has served the San Francisco Bay
