Probiotic Action Spokesperson Reacts to New Treatments Being Developed for Teen Acne

Bohemia, NY (PRWEB) December 13, 2012

On December 13, Probiotic Action spokesperson Fernando Perez reacted to developing research on teen acne, which includes fighting off mutating, acne-causing bacteria on the skin.

According to an article from the National Public Radio website, “UCLA dermatologist Dr. Jenny Kim says many people don't realize it's bacteria that cause acne. ‘Some people say your face is dirty, you need to clean it more, scrub more, don't eat chocolate, things like that. But really, it's caused by bacteria and the oil inside the pore allows the bacteria to overpopulate,’ Kim says.”

For many teens, finding the best treatment for acne is easy. The article reports that over-the-counter treatments can help beat many types of acne; but more serious cases require more serious solutions, and some have turned to antibiotic treatments. However, research has shown that there are forms of bacteria that cause acne and are also resistant to these antibiotic treatments.

Light treatments have also become another option for teens with acne, according to the article. It seems to work for most people with serious acne after several treatments. However, it is still unclear as to how this treatment actually works. They believe it may kill off the resistive bacteria, but they are not 100 percent sure about this.

“At Probiotic Action, we’ve been taking a different approach towards developing the best treatment for acne,” said Fernando Perez. “We know that bacteria causes acne, however we also recognize that there are forms of bacteria that are good for your skin – called probiotics. We have developed treatments that help your skin develop more probiotics in order to help you in your fight against acne.”

Probiotic Action is an advanced acne treatment that uses a topical probiotic containing the “good bacteria” that is naturally found on healthy human skin. By using probiotics, Probiotic Action is an effective treatment that restores the normal bacteria content on skin. Probiotic Action will successfully clear skin while protecting skin against bad bacteria, free radicals, and pollutants.
