ing side effects."

Philip S. Lance, president of the ICIO said INTEGRIS sought a single oncology information system that would maximize open communications and efficiency across its oncology services.

"Today, many cancer related treatments require a multi-modality approach, which drives the need for integration," said Lance. "MOSAIQ will provide the right foundation so that we can continue to offer personalized medicine to our patients."

The two centers will use MOSAIQ for all aspects of their conventional radiation oncology, medical oncology, hematology, palliative care and proton therapy workflow, as well as XiO for proton treatment planning.

"We have a unique situation in that the entire oncology workflow is based on one integrated MOSAIQ solution," said Ben Harris, ProCure's director of training and development. "This is a first in a proton treatment center. Combining multiple oncology modalities through a central electronic medical record ensures that our medical and administrative teams control the information they need so we can provide the best possible care to our patients."
