Due to the success of Prime Medical Associates’ Sleep Lab, the company’s lab and one of its doctors, Dr. Arun Rajan, have been featured in Insider Magazine.
In the article by Joyce Rowley, Dr. Rajan provided an answer to a common thread among the Sleep Center patients, who have dealt with sleep loss for so long that it seems normal to be tired.

Dr. Rajan went on to point out that interrupted sleep – through sleep apnea – can lead to serious health problems.
Sleep apnea, Dr. Rajan said in the article, has even been linked to brain scarring in more severe cases. The heart, he said, has to work overtime, too, when it doesn’t get enough oxygen, and this can lead to arrhythmia and high blood pressure.
