Date:12/7/2009

p>The vPredict(TM) Optical Catheter System is being developed for the detection and characterization of soft plaque. Its technology platform is based on Raman spectroscopy, a highly sensitive technique proven in numerous non-clinical applications. The vPredict(TM) System detects clinically important compounds, including cholesterols, in the vessel wall and plaque. The goal of the vPredict(TM) System is to provide physicians with information to identify patients at risk for a heart attack and treat them proactively.
