Prepared Response Now a Reseller of Veratect's Pandemic Data Reporting System

SEATTLE, May 7 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Prepared Response, Inc., the leading provider of emergency preparedness and response solutions, today announced it is now a reseller of Veratect Corporation's VeraSight(TM) Global (VSG) pandemic data reporting system through the federal government's General Services Administration (GSA). This particular contract program also allows state and local governments to acquire Veratect's solutions through the GSA under the Local Preparedness Acquisition Act.

VeraSight Global is a web-based data reporting system that provides access to a real-time display of disease events worldwide together with analytical reporting, event histories, regional summaries, and situational awareness of other events in the vicinity from any other event of interest. This service provides current information for early indications and warnings of disease threats to humans, animals, and plants. Users can filter the output by data range, location, severity, disease and disease type. Prepared Response has conducted pandemic influenza and bio-emergency awareness and planning courses at facilities across the country.
