Premium Lens Boot Camp™ Helps Refractive Surgeons Grow Their Premium IOL Practice
Date:4/6/2009

Premium Lens Boot Camp™ - a first-of-its-kind training program to help refractive & cataract surgeons grow their accommodating/multi-focal lens business - has announced that its first boot camp session will be held on June 5th in Chicago at the O'Hare Marriott.

Camarillo, CA (PRWEB) April 6, 2009 -- Premium Lens Boot Camp™ - a first-of-its-kind training program to help refractive and cataract surgeons grow their accommodating/multi-focal lens business - has announced that its first boot camp session will be held on June 5th in Chicago at the O'Hare Marriott.

This intensive, day-long session will focus like a laser on strategies, marketing and tactics that enable surgeons, administrators, counselors and other clinical staff members to improve premium lens close rates and patient satisfaction.

"The key to increasing premium IOL volume is learning how to communicate the benefits of such lenses, and how patients can fit the cost into their budget," said Yvonne Martin, MBA, CEO of Business Management Group and co-founder of Premium Lens Boot Camp. "As LASIK volumes decline, premium IOLs can help surgeons differentiate their practice and generate substantial revenue from the growing 'baby boomer' market." "Premium lens companies are marketing directly to consumers and the physicians who do not adopt this technology will be left behind" Martin adds.

The inaugural Premium Lens Boot Camp on June 5th will feature:

  • Paul Dougherty, MD
  • IOL Specialist and Medical Director of Dougherty Laser Vision (Camarillo and Los Angeles, CA)
  • Yvonne Martin, MBA
  • Retail Medicine Consultant, Former COMT/Practice Administrator and CEO of Business Management Group (BMG NOW, Inc.)
  • David Krier
