Pregnancy Health Centre Launches Website to Help Women
Date:3/9/2010

The new Pregnancy Health website gives Canadian women important and potentially life-changing information about pregnancy health, fertility health, and women's health.

Edmonton, Alberta (PRWEB) March 9, 2010 -- The Pregnancy Health Centre announced today the launch of its new website. The new Pregnancy Health website gives Canadian women important and potentially life-changing information about pregnancy health, fertility health, and women's health.

"The Pregnancy Health website gives women the opportunity to make informed decisions about how to manage their health," said Cecil Horwitz, owner of the Pregnancy Health website. "Acupuncture complements Western medicine and plays a large role in the health of women, whether they are having fertility problems or are already pregnant."

Women trying to conceive can get detailed information on the benefits of acupuncture for fertility, as well as statistics showing how it can impact the success of treatments such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), intrauterine insemination (IUI), and other fertility treatments.

For those women who are pregnant and experiencing conditions like pain, morning sickness, fatigue, and depression, the site outlines how acupuncture can help them manage those conditions and feel their best during pregnancy. Acupuncture offers women concerned about their own health and the health of their babies a drug-free alternative for managing pregnancy health. Women can also learn how to ease the labour process and reduce the need for medical interventions.

Visitors to the new Pregnancy Health website can also sign up to receive regular updates relating to women's health. Women who are experiencing immediate health problems, or women who want to know more about using acupuncture to manage their reproductive health, can get their questions answered by Cecil Horwitz, a practicing acupuncturist specializing in acupuncture obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive medicine.

Horwitz created the Pregnancy Health website when he discovered that the majority of women in Canada are not aware of the benefits of acupuncture. Once considered an alternative medical procedure, acupuncture is now widely used.
