Costs and Accelerates Revenues for Hospitals

WAYNE, Pa., March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Precyse Solutions, the leader in driving peak performance within Health Information Management (HIM) departments, today announced the appointment of Ken Lacy as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Joining Precyse in 2000, Lacy previously held the position of Corporate Vice President and CIO for the Company, where he led the implementation of the unique and highly regarded PrecyseNet(TM) platform system. A proven leader of people, ideas and innovation, Lacy will now take on the additional responsibility of the formal creation of Precyse's Product Management function, where he will make further improvements and enhancements to PrecyseNet and the Company's on line remote coding application, PrecyseCode 2X(TM), by implementing front-end Automated Speech Recognition (ASR), virtual chart and chart storage.

PrecyseNet is a unique software platform that supports remote coding, transcription and ASR on one secure, Web-based platform. Lacy developed and has continued to enhance the system platform through the implementations of ASR and Precyse's proprietary remote coding software solution, PrecyseCode 2X, which facilitates specialized coding for emergency, surgical, outpatient and E&M, as well as inpatient encounters, helping U.S. hospitals achieving appropriate reimbursement for medical services. Lacy continues to differentiate Precyse's software platform within the Health Information Technology (HIT) industry.
