Precision Therapeutics President and CEO Sean McDonald Recipient of 2009 Pacesetters Award

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Precision Therapeutics today announced that its President and Chief Executive Officer Sean McDonald received the Smart Business Magazine 2009 Pacesetters Award. This award recognizes business executives and leaders in the Greater Pittsburgh area who are setting the pace for the region. The award honors twelve regional Pacesetters and recognizes the impact of their influence in the community-at-large as well as within their own organizations, and was presented at Kean Theatre in Gibsonia, PA on September 21st.

McDonald joined Precision Therapeutics in 2001 and serves as President and CEO. Prior to joining Precision, Sean founded Automated Healthcare in 1992. Automated Healthcare was acquired by McKesson Corporation in 1996 and retained McDonald to lead their technology businesses.
