PreCheck, Inc. Offers Human Resources Background Screening Training Webinar
Date:1/5/2014

Houston, TX (PRWEB) January 05, 2014

PreCheck, Inc., an employment screening firm specializing in the healthcare industry, recently announced it will host a live, complimentary webinar titled, “Starting the Year Off Right: 5 Essentials for Your HR Background Screening Checklist”, on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Central Standard Time. The webinar will offer expert advice from PreCheck’s Vice President of Compliance, Vu Do, a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) with over ten years of experience in the background screening industry.

“Background screening practices have been placed under increased scrutiny from regulators like the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission,” explains Vu Do. “Further, with a rise in litigation involving Fair Credit Reporting Act violations, it’s always a great idea for employers to review their legal obligations under the FCRA when using employment background checks. This session is essential for new HR staff and offers benefits to HR veterans as well.”

“In 2014, we are more committed than ever to serve as an educator in the healthcare and human resources community,” stated Bryan Barajas, Marketing Director at PreCheck. “We are excited to head into the New Year with an informative session that our clients and other employers can benefit from in safeguarding their facilities.”

The one-hour complimentary background screening training session offers tips on how to establish or review a screening policy, an overview of the EEOC Enforcement Guidance on employer’s use of criminal records, discussion of state laws affecting background check practices, and more. For more information and to register for the free webinar, visit PreCheck’s website.
