Prairie Winds of Urbana Affordable Assisted Living Plans Fabulous Fifties Fall Festival
Date:9/1/2013

Bradley, Illinois (PRWEB) September 01, 2013

Prairie Winds of Urbana, a BMA affordable assisted living community, will host a Fabulous Fifties Fall Festival from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 15.

The community, which is located at 1905 S. Prairie Winds Dr. in Urbana, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.

“Get your blue suede shoes and poodle skirts ready for our fall festival. You’re sure to have a good time,” said Prairie Winds Administrator Scott Douglas.

Food will be served, and Elvis will make a special appearance at the 1950s-themed event.

For more information about Prairie Winds of Urbana, call 217-344-6400.

The Prairie Winds assisted living community is fully certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program and is managed by BMA Management, Ltd., the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois.

Residents of Prairie Living live in private apartments.

Each of the apartments features a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, and an emergency alert system.

Certified nursing assistants are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide residents with personal assistance and help with medications. Meals, housekeeping and laundry are among the included services.

In addition, residents benefit from plenty of opportunities to socialize with their neighbors and to participate in social activities and special events, says Douglas.

"Our focus is to provide residents with the love, compassion and dignity they deserve in addition to the care and assistance that they need," she says. "Our emphasis is on helping Prairie Winds of Urbana residents achieve and maintain as much independence as possible for as long as possible."

Based in Bradley, Illinois, BMA Management operates 38 senior living communities, housing more than 3,800 apartments.
