Dr. Cooper to serve as medical director and chief of clinical affairs, and Coyne as vice president of solutions delivery and IT for innovative wound
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., March 27 /PRNewswire/ -- PolyRemedy, Inc., a manufacturer of point-of-care, robotic systems for the fabrication and tracking of customized nano-material based wound treatments, has hired Diane Cooper, PhD, FAAN, as its medical director and chief of clinical affairs and Joe Coyne as its vice president of solution delivery and information technology. The new appointments were created to serve critical customer needs during a time of exceptional Company growth.

Dr. Cooper is an internationally recognized leader in medical research, clinical trials, nursing, education and wound care. As part of her new role as PolyRemedy's medical director and chief of clinical affairs, Dr. Cooper will form relationships with key clinical advisors and thought leaders in wound care to communicate the Company's vision and value to wound management. Dr. Cooper's focus on wound healing has spanned three decades and included faculty appointments at the University of South Florida, Tampa, Fla., University of Texas, Galveston, Texas, Michigan State University, East Lansing, Mich., and the University of California San Francisco. Among other industry positions, Dr. Cooper previously served as the worldwide medical director for Johnson & Johnson Ethicon Wound Management, Somerville, N.J., and director of clinical affairs, tissue management, for Human Genome Sciences, Rockville, Md., and HEALTHPOINT, Ltd., Fort Worth, Texas.

Prior to that, he held various technical leadership positions with Omnicell and HBO & Company (now McKesson Corporation), San Francisco, Calif.
