Polar RCX5 Tour de France Available At The Heart Rate Watch Company
Date:6/23/2012

Bozeman, MT (PRWEB) June 23, 2012

Next week the Tour de France, the most important cycling race in the world, begins and the Heart Rate Watch Company is pleased to announce that it has the Polar RCX5 Tour de France, the official training computer of the Tour de France, available in limited quantities. "These units will be gone in late August and never available again, so now is the time to get one", says Rusty Squire, President of the Heart Rate Watch Company.

"I'm predicting a battle between Bradley Wiggins of Team Sky and Cadel Evans of BMC racing at this year’s Tour de France with Levi Leipheimer as my dark horse", says Squire. He adds, "The race for yellow starts June 30th and conclude on the Champs D'Elysee in Paris on July 22nd.

The new Polar RCX5 Tour de France model comes in Black with yellow accents and has the official Tour de France logo emblazoned on the wrist band. It is the official training computer of
the 2012 Tour de France and comes in three distinct versions covered below. "Many top Tour riders use Polar products and so this is a limited opportunity to get the technology the pros use in the special Tour versions", states Squire.

POLAR RCX5 TDF BIKE

The Polar RCX5 Tour de France bike version comes with Polar CS WIND speed sensor and a free Polar CS WIND cadence sensor (a $59.95 value). The bike version also includes the Polar WIND Wearlink chest strap and the Polar Datalink stick for transferring data to Polar Personal Trainer software. A bike mount for the wrist unit is also included which adds the safety of having your data visible on your handlebars.

POLAR RCX5 TDF GPS

The Polar RCX5 Tour de France GPS version includes Polar's new G5 GPS sensor and sensor clip. "The clip is far preferable to the arm band and can be clipped on the waist band of shorts or jersey pockets, plus the whole unit weighs a mere 2 ounces", states Squire. The G5 sensor receives speed, distance and mapping data that can be downloaded following a ride, run or other outdoor activity. The GPS version also includes a free cadence sensor, the bike mount and Datalink stick.

POLAR RCX5 TDF PREMIUM BUNDLE

The Polar RCX5 Tour de France Premium bundle includes the G5 GPS sensor, bike mount, Datalink, Polar CS Speed Sensor and adds the Polar S3-Plus foot pod into the mix. The S3-Plus receives stride data for runners.

FEATURES

The Polar RCX5 TDF includes a race pace feature that shows athletes in real-time how they are doing in both distance and pace at maintaining a desired pace. There are also interval training features built into the watches and they all use Hybrid chest strap technology that receives heart rate in the water.

The Polar RCX5 Tour de France models are all available at the Heart Rate Watch Company but only for the next 8 weeks and then they will no longer be available.
