Polar Introduces the RS800CX Training Management System for Multisport Endurance Athletes

Each RS800CX training computer is compatible with select Polar GPS, running, and cycling sensors, and includes a WearLink+ W.I.N.D. transmitter and Polar ProTrainer 5 software. When paired with the appropriate sensor, the RS800CX is also available in MULTI, RUN, and BIKE sets, allowing athletes to select one that best matches their training needs. With the RS800CX training computer as the core of this training management system, the detailed capabilities and retail pricing for each set is as follows:

-- RS800CX ($419.95) - includes training computer, Polar WearLink+ W.I.N.D.

transmitter, Polar ProTrainer 5 software, and IrDA USB Adapter. The

RS800CX combines training session data from different sporting

activities into one file, and also includes Interval Trainer, a feature

that creates personalized workouts using heart rate, timing guidance,

and speed and distance that are available with optional sensory

accessories. In addition, the Polar Fitness Test using OwnIndex can help

users find their baseline fitness level in just five minutes.

-- RS800CX MULTI ($499.95) - includes everything that comes with the base

CX set and adds the Polar G3 GPS sensor to accurately measure speed,

distance and route tracking information. GPS maps can be viewed on

Google Earth through Polar ProTrainer 5 software, and are color-coded
