HAMILTON, Bermuda, Sept. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Platinum Underwriters Holdings, Ltd. (NYSE: PTP) will report financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 after the close of trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday, October 23, 2007.

The Company will host a teleconference to discuss the financial results on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at 8:00 a.m. Eastern time.

The call may be accessed by dialing 800-289-0528 (US callers) or 913-981-5522 (international callers), or in a listen-only mode via the Investor Relations section of Platinum's website at http://www.platinumre.com.
