As an experienced portfolio planner closely tied to the success of Carestream Health’s PMO initiative, Alan Uthman Ph.d., PMP and Portfolio Planner, will share Carestream Health’s case study and best practices for developing an intelligent portfolio. Uthman’s tips and candid experiences will provide key insights into how Carestream Health employed portfolio management to enhance strategic planning and decision making at the executive level. Joining Alan on the webinar will be Planview Chief Process Architect, Terry Doerscher, who will help drive the discussion and answer questions from webinar participants.

Alan Uthman, Ph.D., PMP, Portfolio Planner
Uthman, a member of the Project Management Organization (PMO) at Carestream Health, has extensive experience as a program manager implementing global IT systems for R&D, manufacturing and IT infrastructure. In his current role of Portfolio Planner, he is responsible for developing and managing the processes for preliminary project planning and portfolio planning. Carestream Health, Inc., headquartered in Rochester, New York, is an internationally successful company providing medical and dental imaging systems and information technology solutions; molecular imaging systems; and non-destructive testing products to a broad base of customers around the world.

Terry Doerscher, Planview Chief Process Architect
Doerscher has more than 26 years of operational and consulting experience with PMO process development, strategic planning, and program, project, work and resource management. Doerscher is the primary author and passionate evangelist for the Planview approach to integrated business management known as Planview PRISMS® Adaptive Business Processes and Best Practices. He is responsible for coordinating its integration with Planview Enterprise software functionality.
