Final Cut Pro X plugin and effects manufacturer, Pixel Film Studios, announced the release of the TransGrunge grunge transitions and plugins for Apple's Final Cut Pro X.
"TransGrunge is a great complementary transitions pack to our popular ProGrudge and ProShake plugins for Final Cut Pro X," said Christina Austin, CEO of Pixel Film Studios, "Users can make some great grungy videos like the popular UFC promos with these effects."
Whether creating an extreme sports video or fight promo, users can transition their way from clip to clip in FCPX using grungy and gritty dissolves with TransGrunge from Pixel Film Studios. By simply laying one of the transitions between their footage, editors can see their footage transformed into a grungy world or cracks, scratches and dirt.
With 30 TransGrunge textures to choose from, Final Cut Pro X users can create endless unique grunge sequences without having to repeat the same look. They can quickly and easily browse through the TransGrunge library by scrubbing over the preview to see the effects in real time.
With an easy to use drop down menu and controls in the FCPX Inspector, editors can quickly add filters to their grunge to create new, cool looks in the click of a mouse. With 30 texture presets and filter controls, the possibilities are endless.
TransGrunge was designed to work seamlessly inside Final Cut Pro X. Filmmakers can simply choose the grunge textures they like in the transitions window, and then adjust the length of time they want the transition to last to work best with the scene. Users can even change the filter and drop shadow of their grunge in the FCPX Inspector.
