Pinnacle 1 Insurance Introduces Fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House at Stanford to Support Families of Hospitalized Children
Date:5/11/2017

Pinnacle 1 Insurance unveils another remarkable charity campaign in their effort to support local families with a community enrichment program serving the greater San Jose metro area. The latest initiative supports Ronald McDonald House at Stanford, which offers a comfortable home-away-from-home for families with locally hospitalized children at little or no cost. Donations are now being accepted at https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/1432543.

Ronald McDonald House (RMH) is an internationally renowned nonprofit organization which supports the families of children around the world who are hospitalized with serious injuries and illnesses. At RMH, families may enjoy home-cooked meals, private rooms, laundry facilities and playrooms for the kids. RMH at Stanford has recently become the largest location in the world. They now offer two houses in Palo Alto, allowing them to serve up to 123 families per night with comfortable, welcoming lodging. Providing parents and siblings with housing in safe and comfortable locations close to children receiving treatment means families can support each other during stressful hospital stays. And keeping families together raises everyone’s spirits, enables parents to communicate more effectively with their children’s medical teams and facilitates healing.

“We’re very excited to be working with Ronald McDonald House at Stanford,” said Robert Varich, owner of Pinnacle 1 Insurance. “They provide comfort and peace-of-mind to children and families struggling with extremely challenging circumstances. We feel honored to do anything at all we can to help make that possible.”

The agency’s dedicated team has created an online social media presence and email awareness campaign to promote the initiative for RMH at Stanford, as well as featuring it in Our Hometown, their community magazine. A vibrant print and digital publication which is delivered monthly to thousands of households in and around San Jose, CA, electronic versions of the current and past issues may be viewed by visiting http://pin1ins.com/magazines/.

Pinnacle 1 Insurance has made it easy for the community to throw support behind the campaign by pledging to donate $10 to RMH at Stanford for every person recommended for a no-obligation quotation. Readers who wish to stand beside deserving families may have the agency make a donation in their name by submitting recommendations of family and friends at http://pin1ins.com/causes/place-call-home-rough-times/.

Pinnacle 1 Insurance has made an ongoing commitment to positively impact the communities they serve by vigorously seeking out and supporting local worthy causes as part of the celebrated ‘Agents of Change’ movement.
