breast cancer
ALPHARETTA, Ga., Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Bright Starts(TM), an infant and toddler product and baby gear brand, celebrates the "Power of Pink" by announcing the winners of its "Pink Power Moms" search. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the eight outstanding women will be recognized during the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Pink Tie Ball taking place in Atlanta, Georgia on October 13th.
"Pink Power Moms" Unite!
In April, Bright Starts(TM) launched a search for inspirational mothers who had overcome breast cancer, and used their fight as a lesson to all, especially their children. The eight specially selected winners will unite in Atlanta for a weekend of wellness and will be recognized at the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Pink Tie Ball. During the weekend of October 12th, each of the selected moms will be provided luxurious accommodations at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Atlanta, along with a day of spa treatments courtesy of Spa on Paces. Prior to the actual ball on October 13th, each mom will have a photo taken with philanthropist Jane Fonda, and then presented with checks to be donated to the breast cancer organization of their choice. The evening will culminate with the moms being recognized during the ball by breast cancer survivor and Atlanta media maven/icon, Monica Kaufmann Pearson.
During the month of October, the winners will also be featured in a national advertising campaign with their inspirational stories shared throughout the nation. A donation to the breast cancer charity of their choice will then be given in their name.
