PhySynergy CRNA Recognized for Business Leadership Potential
Date:8/7/2014

Huntsville, AL (PRWEB) August 07, 2014

PhySynergy, a privately held management services organization (MSO), specializing in change management and physician practice support for anesthesiology, hospitalist, and emergency medicine groups, today announced a major accomplishment for one of the CRNAs in its growing cooperative. Jeremy Cushing was selected to participate in the Management Academy for business leader training, offered by the Leadership Huntsville/Madison County program. According to the program mission, “[Leadership] serves as a catalyst in identifying, educating, inspiring, and connecting leaders to better serve our community.”

“It is a big honor for Jeremy to have been nominated and selected, as this is a very competitive program—with business executives throughout the area competing for a limited number of spots,” says Tim Adams, president and board chairman for PhySynergy, LLC. “PhySynergy is paying the program tuition because good companies invest in their employees. This is a great opportunity for Jeremy’s personal and professional development; for that very reason it’s something we want to highlight.”

Among other criteria, Cushing was selected for his entrepreneurial potential and his past performance as a local medical professional/trainer. Cushing has spent the last 12 years as a clinical nurse anesthetist in the PhySynergy network. He recently co-founded 911Ready, a company that provides site evaluations, training, and equipment to prepare businesses for sudden cardiac arrest emergencies. Cushing is a graduate of the University of South Alabama, and holds a master’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Medicine.

Leadership’s Management Academy is a ten-month program, running from August to June. The program offers practical instruction in key management topics, taught by successful executives from the Tennessee Valley area. Participants enjoy hands-on experiences, skills exercises, leadership challenges, and career-related mentor assignments.
