Nashville, TN (PRWEB) November 12, 2013

PhyMed Healthcare Group (PhyMed) announced today that Lebanon (PA) Anesthesia Associates (LAA) has joined the PhyMed network of physician-owned anesthesia practices. The merger expands the PhyMed anesthesia network to Pennsylvania.

“PhyMed is pleased to welcome Lebanon Anesthesia Associates as our partner, and looks forward to collaborating with LAA’s doctors and staff in providing superior patient care and innovative delivery models in Pennsylvania,” said Dr. Frederick Miller, CEO and President of PhyMed board member. “We have spent significant time with the physicians at LAA and know we have partnered with a strong group that upholds the same core values as PhyMed.”

Dr. Forrest added that the compatible culture and vision shared by LAA and PhyMed will help create opportunities and expand market presence in Pennsylvania, which will benefit partner surgeons, hospitals and patients.

“The combined team, which includes some of the most experienced personnel in the healthcare industry and quality outcomes metric-driven physicians, will continue to strive for excellence in optimizing the delivery of care utilizing the most advanced technologies,” said Dr. Patrick Forrest, Chief Medical Officer and PhyMed board member.

“We are excited to be a part of the PhyMed team whose strong clinical leadership will support and enhance our emphasis on quality, patient safety and overall clinical excellence.
