BOSTON, July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Compete, a TNS Media company, today released its ranking of the top ten Insurance and Physician sites for June 2009, which is based on data from the company's panel of two million US-based internet users. In the past month, overall unique visitors (UVs) to Insurance and Physician sites increased by 3.5 percent, and the category saw an 11.6 percent traffic increase over June 2008. The top ten destinations in the category include physician rating sites -- healthgrades.com and vitals.com -- and insurance plan comparison services -- ehealthinsurance.com and dentalplans.com. Rounding out the top ten are government-run medicare.gov and four branded insurance company homepages.
