Women with overly large breasts suffer from a variety of ailments including chronic back, neck and shoulder pain, poor posture, painful gouges in the shoulders from bra strap pressure, restricted levels of activity and low self-esteem. Reduced breasts can improve self-confidence and make it easier to exercise or find clothing. While liposculpture can often reduce breasts by up to 50%, most women find that any reduction above 30% eliminates negative side effects caused by their overly large breasts.

According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, more than 104,000 traditional breast reduction surgeries were performed in 2006. These traditional surgeries can significantly reduce breast size, but they leave patients with large lifetime scars, areas of numb skin, loss of nipple sensation, and can often interfere with a woman's ability to breast feed. Moreover, since traditional breast reductions utilize general anesthesia, the risks of complications and death is much higher. With Dr. Bittner's innovative, micro-liposculpture procedure, women can reduce their breast sizes to a healthier and more comfortable size, without any scaring, loss of sensation, or longer-term consequences, which can often occur with traditional breast reduction. General anesthesia is replaced with only local numbing, so

the procedure is very safe. In fact, some patients can even drive themselves home.

Dr. Bittner has garnered an international reputation for both the dramatic results he achieves with his cutting edge, micro-liposculpture techniques as well as for his impeccable safety record -- he has not ever had a patient experience a serious complication or infection. He sees patients from almost every continent in the world -- from Asia to Africa -- and at least two or more patients a day fly in to Beverly Hills Liposculpture for their procedures from other States.
