Photo: Beverly Hills Liposculpture Specializes in Scarless Breast Reduction Dr. Alan Bittner Reduces Female Breasts by up to 50%
Date:2/26/2008

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Feb. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- At Beverly Hills Liposculpture, Dr. Alan Bittner (http://www.dralanbittner.com) offers women a minimally invasive and safe breast reduction surgery that can reduce breasts by up to 50% without scaring or associated risks. The procedure, called liposculpture breast reduction, takes approximately 90 minutes and can remove up to 1 liter of fat (more than 3 coke cans!) from each breast while the patient is awake. Female breast reduction by liposculpture reduces the size and weight of the breasts, can correct for asymmetry present in natural breasts, and provides a mild to moderate degree of breast lift.

According to Dr. Alan Bittner, Medical Director of Beverly Hills Liposculpture (http://www.bhliposculpture.com), the busiest liposculpture center in the world, "Breast liposculpture is done in our office in Beverly Hills with local numbing; no general anesthesia or IV sedation is used. Our patients remain awake and alert during the procedure." Most patients report that the procedure is comfortable or is virtually pain free. As a micro-liposculpture specialist, Dr. Bittner uses a gentle technique with instruments that are smaller than an angel hair pasta noodle to remove between 40 to 70% of the fat in the breasts. These smaller instruments lead to more precise results and faster recovery.

"There are many advantages of female breast reduction by liposculpture over traditional breast reduction surgery: No general anesthesia or IV is needed; there are no stitches or unattractive scars, there is very little pain and most patients return to work the following day," says Dr. Alan Bittner.
