Phoenix Health Systems and SunGard Availability Services Partner to Deliver Data and IT Management Solutions to Community Hospitals

DALLAS, May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Phoenix Health Systems, a national provider of health care information technology outsourcing, consulting and business process solutions, announced today a partnership with SunGard Availability Services, a leading information availability and IT services company, to deliver world class data and IT management solutions to the healthcare community. The partnership will provide healthcare customers with an affordable, complete end-to-end solution that stands alone in the industry, combining Phoenix's proven experience in the hospital market with SunGard's acclaimed managed services, advanced recovery, data center and IT solutions.

Phoenix will be a marketer and manager of the services offered through the partnership to create a single point of contact for all of its clients; enabling healthcare providers to focus on their core competency, providing patient care, and not manage multiple vendors and IT systems. As the storage, computing and management demands grow for Clinical Data Systems, Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS), the comprehensive solutions created by the new partnership are scalable to any size healthcare organization and budget.
