Case Studies in the Management of PK/PD Data Will be Presented in Paris,

France

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Sept. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Pharsight Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: PHST), a leading provider of software and strategic services for optimizing clinical drug development, today announced that Dan Weiner, Ph.D., Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, will lead an open workshop on improving productivity, collaboration and regulatory compliance in the analysis and reporting of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) Data on September 27-28, 2007 at 8:30 am local (Paris) time at the Hotel Concorde La Fayette, Paris, France. Client case studies will be presented to illustrate the implementation process for a modern PK data repository and automated production of standardized PK analyses.

"Automated PK/PD data management is fundamental to executing an efficient model-based drug development program that can achieve higher scientific productivity," said Shawn O'Connor, Pharsight president, CEO and chairman. "In this workshop, Pharsight clients will discuss how they implemented the technical infrastructure required to automate the storage, retrieval, analysis and reporting of PK/PD data through the Pharsight Knowledgebase Server(TM) (PKS(TM)).
