PhUSE Annual Conference to focus on Patient Centricity
Date:3/14/2013

Brussels, Belgium (PRWEB) March 14, 2013

PhUSE presents the 2013 Annual PhUSE conference. The conference, which will take place in Brussels, Belgium, will turn the spotlight onto ‘Patient Centricity’ in the pharmaceutical world. The conference will address the relationship between the data that drives clinical research and the patients to whom the industry seeks to provide novel therapies, putting patients at the heart of the discussion.

PhUSE is pleased to announce that the keynote speaker at the Annual PhUSE conference will be Doctor Ben Goldacre, science journalist and author of “Bad Pharma.”

"PhUSE has a rich history of excellent keynote presenters and securing Dr. Ben Goldacre just adds to the impressive list of industry influencers. His mix of journalistic skills together with a deep understanding of medicine, the industry and clinical data will give an insight into the challenges that we face as we come to terms with Patent Centricity" says Stephen Bamford, Events Director for PhUSE and Executive Director and co-founder at Cerafor.

The conference will also include workshops focusing on indications, diseases, and data analysis. Through discussion groups, conference attendees will learn and contribute to a better understanding of how to further improve standardization in therapeutic areas, leading to better outcomes for patients. Specifically, Oncology and Rheumatoid Arthritis will be discussed in Therapeutic Area Discussion Clubs.

PhUSE provides a forum second to none for networking and sharing knowledge with colleagues. Attendees at the annual conference will benefit from over 100 presentations centered around the PhUSE topic streams, with 14 different streams, including Management, CDISC and Statistics & PK.

Registration is open. Call for papers is open. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
