(Vocus) October 1, 2009 -- Personal Symmetrics, R.J. Rosenberg Orthopedic Lab’s post-mastectomy care division devoted exclusively to women who have had full or partial breast removal or reconstructive surgery, will host an open house Thurs., Oct. 22, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., coinciding with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The boutique is located at 3366 Central Parkway, Cincinnati.

Attendees can view the latest Naturalwear breast forms and bras, including the Radiant Impressions custom breast prosthesis. The Radiant Impressions is among one of the most realistic prostheses available, made of a unique, patent-pending silicone foam core, which remains light, breathable, and cool to wear. Customized from a carefully-cased model of the chest wall, the prosthesis fits snugly to each dimension of the surgery site. Requiring no special type of bra, it is also waterproof and can be worn in a bathing suit of choice.

Tammy Henschen and Pat Rosenberg from Personal Symmetics and Carol Kuczek from Naturalwear will be available for personal fittings and to answer questions. Appointments are not necessary.

Personal Symmetrics offers 25 years of fitting experience with a wide selection of high-quality custom breast prostheses, bras, and swimwear. For more information or to arrange for a custom fitting, call (513) 221-7200 or visit Personal Symmetrics' Web site.
