Healthcare industry veteran lends 30 plus years of sales experience to fast growing technology innovator

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) January 19, 2010 -- Perminova, Inc., an innovator in affordable, flexible web-hosted Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and the only provider of a comprehensive web-hosted surgery information management system, today announced that Grant Leonard is joining the company as Vice President of Sales. In this role, Leonard will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding sales and business development initiatives across Perminova’s product lines. The industry veteran brings to Perminova more than three decades of medical facilities management and healthcare information technology (IT) sales management experience, coupled with a deep understanding of, and commitment to, the healthcare industry.

“My wide range of experience, from active selling healthcare IT solutions into national accounts and Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) partnerships to managing sales teams, is ideally suited to the needs of a young, growing healthcare company in which all team members wear many hats and are direct contributors to company success,” said Leonard, a Certified Radiological Technologist and recipient of a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of California at Berkeley.

Prior to joining Perminova, Leonard successfully led marketing and sales teams for both established and start-up healthcare IT companies. As Vice President of Sales for the Western region for InSite One, Inc., the leading service provider of medical data archiving, storage, and disaster-recovery solutions to the healthcare industry, Leonard established some of the largest accounts in company history and was integral in developing Insite One’s valuable flagship sales contract with the Veterans Administration.
