Permanent Make-Up Correction and Supplemental Micropigmentation Courses Offered at Long-Time-Liner® Beverly Hills' Elite Training Course
Date:5/31/2013

Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) May 31, 2013

First brought to the public's awareness in the 1980s, permanent make-up was designed to accentuate features for mainly women so that they did not have to wear make-up. Although the concept was great, the method lacked finesse and now causes problems for many in terms of shape and color. Long-Time-Liner® developed special camouflage techniques to mask these problems and these courses are now available.

With permanent make-up, the color is deposited in the dermal or even lower to the subcutal layers of the skin. Like a tattoo, the color stays embedded in the skin, therefore the client has a permanent appearance. It does fade, however, as the top layer (the epidermis) comes off but most of the shape and color is left behind in the lower depths. Many find this advantageous as they do not have to put on make-up, however this 'permanence' can be a problem.

Unlike the body, the facial muscles change dramatically over the course of time. Muscles change and sag from use and aging of the skin. Permanent make-up from ages past might not reflect the current facial features of the client. Furthermore, because it is pigmented so deeply, only conventional tattoo removal methods such as laser treatments can remove the pigment, but even that it is painful and costly.

As a seasoned veteran with 13 years of experience with semi permanent make-up under her belt, Michelle Park’s salon in Beverly Hills offers corrective services to people with mismatched eyebrows, those with an unflattering color, and can mask areas that have been pigmented too large in respect to the face or pigmented in an unwanted color.

Clients usually have orange or dark gray eyebrows that need to be neutralized and then placed with a special method of layering
