Performance Lifestyle Brand IAMMAI Introduces The World's First Self Cooling Athletic Shirt

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 03, 2014

IAMMAI announces the launch of a Kickstarter campaign introducing a revolutionary eco friendly athletic shirt engineered to cool down as an athlete's body heats up. Having completed over 100% of the funding in just the first few days, the campaign is on track to be one of the highest funded apparel campaigns on Kickstarter. The shirts are made from the most advanced performance fabric in the world and regulate athletes' body temperatures to keep them cool so they can perform better, longer. Taking it one step further, the shirts come with an array of inspirational messages printed backwards to be read while exercising – scientifically proven to motivate.

“My normal workout clothes just weren’t performing the way I wanted them to,” said CEO Andrew Gallery, “My cotton t-shirts were wet and heavy with sweat and my dri-fit clothes were losing their moisture wicking abilities after just a few weeks and I found I was always overheating as I was training for triathlons. Our new shirt eliminates all of those issues. I feel that people deserve a shirt that works just as hard as they do, so I did something about it. ”

Athletes, celebrities and celebrity stylists have embraced the brand and it is quickly becoming a staple among the fashion and fitness crowd. IAMMAI has garnered support from fashion forward and fitness conscious celebs like Chris Evans, Katy Perry, Jaime King, Taye Diggs and many others.

Tested at the Hohenstein Institute in Germany, the world’s top textile and fabric testing facility, IAMMAI shirts were tested against fabrics from the top five performance apparel brands in the world. IAMMAI’s shirts outperformed all of them in every test, excelling the most in fabric cooling and moisture wicking abilities. Unlike dri-fit shirts, which are covered in a chemical coating to give them their moisture wicking abilities, IAMMAI’s performance shirt is eco-friendly and free of chemicals, polymers and gels, and will never lose its cooling abilities no matter how many times you wash it. For the first time, these properties have been engineered directly into the fabric.

Each IAMMAI shirt contains an inspirational message that appears backwards so it can be read in a mirror as you exercise. Scientists and pro-athletes have been using positive psychology for decades to motivate and inspire people to achieve better results.

IAMMAI’s Kickstarter campaign ends on Sept 17, 2014
