PeopleKeys Announces New Certified Behavioral Consultant Trainer Course
Date:7/29/2014

onsultant and DISC trainer with over 25 years of experience, said, ”DISC gives behavioral consultants a solid theoretical foundation on which to base their work with clients. The DISC Personality System was created by Dr. William Marston at Harvard in the 1920's, and is embraced by behavioral consultants around the world as the preferred method for understanding personality style, social characteristics, and predictable behaviors. Every person has a combination of these four main DISC personality styles: dominance, influence, steadiness, and compliance. By understanding these personality styles and the way they interact, behavioral consultants can help clients better communicate, relate to others, handle conflict and stress, how to overcome innate fears, and how to build off their natural strengths. It’s a framework that consultants find interesting, easy to apply, and incredibly beneficial in their dealings with clients.”

One of the other distinctive features of the Behavioral Consultant Training course is that it can be simultaneously offered to students around the world, via virtual classroom. Of the unique positioning of the class in the marketplace, Schindell said, “Online education has opened the door to so many new possibilities. With tele-classes, we can bring together students globally, and are in a unique position to break down the barriers that have prevented people from continuing their education in the past. Real-time courses taught in a virtual classroom allow students the flexibility to fit the training into their schedule, right from home. Even ten years ago, this technology didn’t exist. We’re seeing new opportunities open up to people that never would have the time to fit traditional classes into their lifestyle.”

The Certified Behavioral Consultant Trainer course will be broadcast as a series of 5 online video sessions and 5 live webinars. Class time is 60 minutes for the first 5 weeks and 90 minutes for the following 5 weeks. Sinc
