A new, breakthrough device is proving as an effective help to otherwise untreatable symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis.

The GaitAid device, from MediGait LTD, Israel is giving Multiple Sclerosis patients across the country a sometimes first in years relief from the relentless progressive symptoms of the disease. Multiple Sclerosis is a neurological condition which strikes at the myelin sheaths surrounding nerves. The effects are debilitating, patients deal with constant, painful muscle contractions. Prof. Ariel Miller, MD, head of the Multiple Sclerosis center, Carmel Medical Hospital in Israel says, "The results clearly indicate that the device helps patients with MS control their gait.
