People Across the Country are Making The Switch!

DARIEN, Conn., July 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Now served in over 4000 schools across the nation, The Switch, a sparkling 100% juice, is expanding its availability into the retail sector. In addition to being available on-line at, The Switch has added key retailers Tops, D'Agostinos, Big Y, Kings and select Whole Foods in the past few months. And the list of eager retailers keeps growing with Wegmans, Price Chopper and Kroger's Eastern divisions all putting The Switch on shelves before the back-to-school rush.

"The trend towards healthier eating and drinking continues to gain momentum with mainstream consumers," says Maura Mottolese, company president. "People want a beverage that is healthier than soda, but they don't want to sacrifice on taste or refreshment. The Switch is ideal because it delivers the great taste and bubbly refreshment people crave, without any of the junk found in traditional soft drinks. Also, since The Switch is 100% juice, contains 100% of the RDA Vitamin C and is the equivalent of two fruit servings*, it lets consumers have a guilt free refreshment -- how cool is that?" enthuses Mottolese.

In addition to adding more distributors and retailers, The Switch has been inundated with new flavor requests from their die hard fans -- "What could we do but give the people what they want?" asks Mottolese. New flavor Lemon Lime will make its debut later this month. When asked which her favorite flavor is, Mottolese protests, "They're like my kids, it's impossible to pick a favorite!" And with nine 100% sparkling juice flavors, The Switch definitely offers something for everyone. The lineup includes: Black Cherry, Watermelon Strawberry, Orange Tangerine, Kiwi Berry, Grape, Fruit Punch, Apricot Peach, Very Berry and now -- Lemon Lime.
