Pennsylvania Dental Association Website: A Great Resource for Pennsylvania Residents
Date:7/7/2008

HARRISBURG, Pa., July 7 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Need to find a Pennsylvania Dental Association (PDA) member dentist in your area? Are you a senior citizen living in Pennsylvania looking for reduced-fee dental care? Are you looking for information on oral health topics such as brushing and flossing, fluoride or baby bottle tooth decay? Look no further! PDA's website, http://www.padental.org, is an excellent resource, providing patients this type of information and much more in a user-friendly format. A vast number of helpful resources for patients and the public alike can be found by hovering over the "Patients" tab found on the left-hand side of PDA's homepage or by using the specific web addresses cited below.

To find a PDA member dentist in your area via PDA's website, go to http://www.padental.org/findadentist. Using this search feature, you can search for member dentists by name, county, ZIP code, specialty, city or a combination of search criteria. For example, if you need to find an endodontist in the Harrisburg area, type "Harrisburg" in the city field, select "Endodontics" from the specialty dropdown and click the "Search" button. This search would yield results showing that there are six dentists in Harrisburg who specialize in endodontics.

Many PDA member dentists offer dental care at a reduced cost to senior citizens on low or fixed incomes through PDA's Senior Dental Care Program (SDCP). More than 1,000 dentists have participated in this voluntary program, which enables many seniors to obtain affordable dental care and helps them enjoy good oral health and well-being. For more information on PDA's SDCP, including an online referral request form, just go to http://www.padental.org/sdcp.
