Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition Hosts Annual Conference

EPHRATA, Pa., Sept. 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition (PBCC) Annual Conference will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at the Harrisburg Hilton & Towers from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Pat Halpin-Murphy, President and Founder of the PBCC said, "The Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition Annual Conference is the only statewide breast cancer conference in Pennsylvania bringing together breast cancer survivors, advocates, medical professionals, volunteers, legislators, corporate and union leaders. For the most up-to-date information on breast cancer research and treatment, you need to participate in the PBCC conference in Harrisburg."

Registration for this highly acclaimed conference, which includes a continental breakfast, Pink Ribbon Awards Luncheon, and conference tote bag, is $85, and bring a friend discounts are still available. The PBCC brings four influential award winners to the 2009 Annual Conference. The Pink Ribbon Award will be presented to Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, US House of Representatives, Appropriations Committee, and Senator Vincent J. Hughes, Pennsylvania State Senate, Minority Chair, Health & Welfare Committee.

In addition, the Vivian and Meyer P. Potamkin Foundation Award for Breast Cancer Research will be awarded to Joseph M.
