EPHRATA, Pa., Sept. 11 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition (PBCC) Annual Conference will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2008, at the Harrisburg Hilton & Towers from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in celebration of its fifteen years of education, advocacy, and research.

This milestone year for the PBCC brings four influential award winners to the Annual Conference. The Pink Ribbon Award will be presented to Estelle Richman, Secretary, PA Department of Public Welfare, and Frank Pinto, President and CEO, PA Association of Community Bankers.
In addition, the Vivian and Meyer P. Potamkin Foundation Award for Breast Cancer Research will be awarded to Timothy Rebbeck, Ph.D., Professor of Biostatistics & Epidemiology, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Sandy Cray, survivor, volunteer, advocate and Lehigh Valley Vice President, PBCC Board of Directors, will also be honored with this year's Shining Light Award.
