SCRANTON, Pa., April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Penn Foster Career School, one of the oldest and largest online learning institutions in the world, has launched a new Certified Personal Trainer Program.

With Penn Foster's Certified Personal Trainer Program, students will receive thorough training in the techniques and skills of a Personal Trainer plus a National Council on Strength and Fitness (NCSF) Certification Package that contains materials that will prepare them for NCSF Certification. As part of this package, students will also receive a voucher for the actual NCSF Certification Exam.

The U.S. Department of Labor is projecting a 27% increase in personal training jobs over the next decade. However, in order to take advantage of this employment growth most fitness workers need to be certified.
