Dr. John Niederhuber, Director, National Cancer Institute (NCI)

John E. Niederhuber, M.D., is the Director of the National Cancer Institute (NCI). He was formerly the Wattawa Professor-Bascom in Cancer Research, Professor of Surgery and Oncology at the University Of Wisconsin School Of Medicine. Dr. Niederhuber served the University of Wisconsin as the Director of the University of Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer Center. He came to the University of Wisconsin in 1997 from Stanford University where he had served as Chair of the Department of Surgery.

Dr. Jody Pettit, Health IT Coordinator, Office for Oregon Health Policy & Research

Dr. Pettit is the Health Information Technology Coordinator and serves at the Project Director for the Oregon Health Information Security & Privacy Collaboration. Dr. Pettit has been actively involved in health information development projects including serving as the director of the Oregon Health Information Infrastructure project for the Oregon Healthcare Quality Corporation, chair of the State of Oregon Health Policy Commission's Electronic Health Records and Healthcare Connectivity Subcommittee, and chair of the Chronic Disease Data Clearinghouse Steering Committee.

Gladys Sandlin, Mission Neighborhood Health Center, San Francisco

Gladys Sandlin is the Executive Director of the Mission Neighborhood Health Center in San Francisco. Before assuming the directorship, Ms. Sandlin was Social Service Director and Public Relations Coordinator for Mission Neighborhood Health Center. In 1980, she was appointed to the San Francisco Commission on the Status of Women by Major Dianne Feinstein.

William Spriggs, Department of Economics, Howard University
