Paul Rodriguez, Voces Del Rancho and More to Be Honored at the 8th Annual Angels of Hope Awards, July 12

LOS ANGELES, July 8 /PRNewswire/ --

WHAT: City of Hope and Santa Fe Communications are launching their 8th annual La Gota de la Vida campaign to support City of Hope, a leading biomedical research and treatment institution for cancer and other life-threatening diseases. The campaign will encourage community members to register with the National Bone Marrow Registry. This year's activities will include public service announcements, community events and a music festival and will culminate in the annual Angels of Hope Awards.

This year's music festival will take place on July 12 at the Hollywood Park racetrack. Renan Almendarez Coello, "El Cucuy de la Manana," will serve as emcee, and performers will include Ezequiel Pena, Yolanda Del Rio, Voces Del Rancho, Carmen Jara, Karyme Lozano and Tierra. Admission to the concert is free, and tickets are available at Food 4 Less, Albertsons, Superior Grocers and Ritmo Latino Music stores.

The Angels of Hope Awards will take place immediately after the concert; the awards honor Latino professionals and community leaders who have made significant contributions in their careers and inspirational individuals who have overcome cancer. This year's event will be hosted by Paul Rodriguez and will include a list of celebrity and influential presenters.
