Patti Davidson Selected for Emerging Leadership Award
Date:6/15/2013

Pitman, NJ (PRWEB) June 15, 2013

Patti Davidson, executive secretary at Pitman Manor, was chosen for the United Methodist Homes Emerging Leadership Award at Celebrating the Power of Community, a recent gathering of associates from all 10 United Methodist Homes of New Jersey communities.

In particular, the UMH Hospitality Award recognizes Davidson, a resident of Mantua, for setting a high standard of integrity by leading through example; behaving with a service spirit, which solicits the respect and trust of others; motivating others to exceed quality expectations; and demonstrating courageous leadership and commitment to creating an environment where ideas can thrive. Among the many nomination comments submitted were, “Very good with our residents and makes everyone smile; and Committed to our Fellowship Fund and fundraisers.”

An interdisciplinary Awards Committee sorted through nominations and determined the winners. These included four associate awards, the Emerging Leadership Award, John Wesley Ministry Award, United Methodist Homes Hospitality Award, Star Award; and two community awards: Community Safety and Celebrating the Power of Community. All associates were able to submit one choice for each of the six awards along with their reasons.

Pitman Manor Executive Director James Clancy, noted, “Associates are drawn to Patti and trust her leadership ability. She challenges, inspires and motivates all associates to participate and to be proud of their accomplishments.”
