Patients Sponsor Their Chiropractors to Attend Frozen Shoulder Treatment Seminar
Date:3/30/2010

Patients and doctors both benefit from knowledge gained learning to relieve Frozen Shoulder Syndrome without surgery or prescription drugs.

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) March 30, 2010 -- One-To-Zero (OTZ) Health Education Systems (www.otzhealthed.com) today announced its “Sponsor Your Doctor” program. The program represents one of the ways OTZ is helping broaden access to its treatment and successful patient outcomes. Through the program, Frozen Shoulder Syndrome and other shoulder impingement sufferers can sponsor their chiropractors to attend a three-day OTZ Diagnosis and Treatment Seminar in Dallas, Texas while they receive treatment for their shoulder problem.

The program is the result of two factors. First, OTZ has received an overwhelming response to the OTZ doctor training classes presented in 2009. Second, since 2007 Frozen Shoulder sufferers have become increasingly familiar with the OTZ treatment and are helping drive awareness among their chiropractors across the United States and other countries. As a result of the program, a growing number of doctors are beginning to recognize the significant number of people who may suffer from Frozen Shoulder Syndrome in their own communities in this country and elsewhere around the world.

Statistic show that 3-4% of the population between the ages of 40 and 70 years suffer from this debilitating shoulder condition, with women representing a small majority. For example, in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex it is estimated that up to 90,000 individuals are currently suffering from Frozen Shoulder Syndrome or related shoulder impingement issues. Therefore, the demand for doctors who can effectively treat this condition is significant across the country and is expected to continue to grow as Baby Boomers age.

Patients who sponsor their doctors into the OTZ training seminar have two options to receive treatment. They can travel with their doctors to Dallas, Texas and be treated during the seminar or receive treatment in their own communities after their doctors complete the seminar. This flexibility was designed into the program to accommodate as many patients and their chiropractors as possible. According to OTZ Founder Dr. Francis X. Murphy, “The OTZ ‘Sponsor Your Doctor’ program helps broaden the availability of the treatment to many more doctors and patients across the country. Our goal is to empower doctors with the OTZ treatment method so they can help the Frozen Shoulder Syndrome patients in their cities and towns.”

The OTZ training curriculum is sponsored by Parker College of Chiropractic for 12 hours of state Continuing Education (CE) credit. The three-day seminars begin Friday afternoon, end at noon Sunday, and are held in a college amphitheater classroom at Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas.
