Date:12/17/2012

Longmont, Colorado (PRWEB) December 17, 2012

Parascript®, LLC, a leading machine print, handprint and cursive recognition technology provider, is today announcing CheckPlus International for France 3.0. The new software helps integrators and financial institutions validate the presence of fields on cheques, in accordance with The Monetary and Financial Code established by the French government to enlist banks and other financial institutions to help prevent fraud.

Parascript’s CheckPlus International for France 3.0 validates the presence of the amount, payee, check creation date, account holder signature and other fields on the front and back of cheques. In addition to validating the presence of these fields, the software also automates cheque processing by recognizing standard fields on machine-printed and handwritten cheques and other financial documents with its proven highly-accurate technology. It recognizes courtesy amount and legal amount (CAR/LAR), check sum, date and MICR line. It also provides CAR/LAR mismatch detection to flag potential errors and/or fraud.

“In leveraging Parascript’s CheckPlus International recognition software, we can provide our customers with an enhanced product offering that helps them more easily identify information on cheques and simplify and speed processing while helping them to fight the increasing threat of fraud. We are happy to work with Parascript to provide banks and other financial institutions with added value. Our partnership with Parascript helps us to offer access to the highest accuracy levels in CAR/LAR and other fields for remote deposit and central processing, for France and other markets, in our STARTHIC and CAPTHIC technologies,” said Nicolas Dujardin, director of research and development, ATHIC.

“We are excited to announce the availability of CheckPlus International for France 3.0 and to address the needs of the French market with greater
