Pangea Communications and FaxBack Extend Their Alliance to Streamline Least Cost Routing and Enhance the Reliability of VoIP-Fax

Pangea Powers its Global Fax Network with FaxBack's VoIP Fax Technology and New HTTPS Platform

Tigard, OR and Salem, OR (PRWEB) September 23, 2009 -- Pangea Communications, a global Internet fax network, solution and service provider, and FaxBack, a leading provider of reliable VoIP Fax solutions for SMB, enterprise and carrier applications, today announced a technology partnership, where FaxBack VoIP fax solutions are integrated with Pangea's flagship fax solution, Concert, to help drive the backend fax technology that powers Pangea's distributed worldwide global fax network. This alliance enables Pangea to become the world's largest and most efficient network for the delivery of international faxes.

Pangea's Global Fax Network is used by ISPs, VoIP providers, ITSPs, CLECs, Telcos and other service providers to easily and inexpensively add branded VoIP fax services into their portfolio, in a manner that increases revenue, reduces customer churn, and enhances the bottom line.

Pangea and FaxBack have worked together for several years, as FaxBack's core VoIP fax technology has helped power Pangea's global fax network. Today, the companies have extended their partnership to enable Pangea to use SIP T.38 and FaxBack's new HTTPS Fax Platform in any network environment, to efficiently optimize fax delivery, using least cost routing and other techniques.

FaxBack was the only partner that can deliver the core VoIP fax technology capable of addressing Pangea's requirements - for a scalable, high density global fax network that could provide the reliability of a traditional PSTN fax, over any network topography. And FaxBack's award-winning technology also came at a price point that enabled Pangea to remain competitive in the wholesale market.
