Pamela Isom, President and CEO of ICE Safety Solutions Inc. Receives 2013 Women of Influence Recognition and Award
Date:5/22/2013

Fremont, CA (PRWEB) May 22, 2013

Pamela Isom, President and CEO of ICE Safety Solutions Inc., received the Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 2013 Women of Influence Award in recognition for her outstanding achievements, positive influence and dedication.

The reception took place on Thursday, May 2 at The Fairmont, San Jose. Acknowledgement for Women of Influence is particularly humbling for the 5,000 people ICE Safety Solutions certifies and trains each year. The greatest success is to recognize the four to nine lives saved per year by those who have been certified with ICE Safety Solutions. Many of these lives were saved by bystanders who recognized someone who was choking or by those who suffered a cardiac arrest and were saved by a nearby Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

“Pamela Isom is the Founder and CEO of ICE Safety Solutions. Pam’s dedication can move mountains with regards to creating results and influence. She is what I call an Energizer Bunny. She is the woman who, while opening doors herself, created many opportunities for others as well. Pam, you are a true Woman of Influence,” said Sonu Ratra, Co-founder and President of Akraya, Inc.

In 1999, ICE Safety Solutions was established to offer American Heart Association certification for CPR, ACLS and PALS training for hospitals and clinic staff. In addition, ICE Safety Solutions offered CPR certification for schools, childcare centers, athletic coaches and recreation staff.

Ms. Isom left her career as a research biologist to begin a new endeavor as a CPR Instructor as a way to spend more time with her baby. In 2005, the home-based business rapidly grew out of her bedroom, living room and garage, which ultimately enabled her to relocate the company into a commercial space.

Today, ICE Safety Solutions continues to grow and be successful customizing safety programs for corporations such as Toyota Motors USA, Turner Construction and Nook Media.
