Palladian Health and QualityMetric Form Collaborative Alliance to Measure Outcomes for Musculoskeletal Conditions
Date:1/14/2010

LINCOLN, R.I., Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Palladian Health, LLC announced today that it has entered into a strategic alliance with QualityMetric Incorporated. Palladian Health will use QualityMetric's SF™ health surveys to measure outcomes for all Palladian muscular skeletal management products, including chiropractic, physical therapy, and Palladian Coordinated Spine Care(SM).

This partnership will allow Palladian to implement innovative web-based solutions that provide real-time clinical decision support driven by standardized outcomes tools that measure functional health and well-being. In addition, Palladian and QualityMetric will collaboratively research the impact of Palladian's clinical management approach on muscular skeletal care patient outcomes.

Palladian's web-based technology platform measures, monitors and predicts the patient's condition through the course of muscular skeletal care. QualityMetric's SF-12v2® Health Survey and SF-10™ Health Survey for Children are key components in Palladian's clinical management philosophy. Developed from years of evidenced-based scientific research, the SF-12v2 and SF-10 are two of the most widely used patient-reported outcome tools.

According to Scott Haldeman, MD, DC, PhD, Chair of Palladian Health's Clinical Advisory Board, "The best way to measure and evaluate patient care is through personal assessment tools that provide practical, reliable insight into the clinical management of the patient. QualityMetric was selected based on their renowned reputation as the world leader in evidenced-based health surveys."

"The combined efforts of Palladian and QualityMetric will be truly meaningful to patients and providers," says Gus Gardner, President and COO at QualityMetric. "We have already begun to collect powerful outcomes data that will help improve muscular skeletal treatment in the future."

Palladian's web-based care management system is user-friendly and will dramatically reduce paperwork for clinicians, patients, and health plans alike. As clinical recommendations and determinations are generated, data is compiled detailing the patient's condition in a seamless user experience. This collaborative, technology-driven platform will soon be available in multiple languages.
