Pacific Shore Holdings, Inc. Launches Burner Balm a Revolutionary, Energy-Boosting, Appetite-Suppressing, Fat-Burning Lip Balm - Natural, Green and Cost-Effective - Featured on NBC's Today Show
Date:6/11/2009

LOS ANGELES, June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Pacific Shore Holdings, Inc., a Los Angeles-based manufacturing and distribution corporation, is proud to announce its newest product, Burner Balm, a natural lip balm that boosts energy, suppresses hunger and burns fat.

A true testimony to its effectiveness, on June 10, 2009, NBC's Today Show's Kathie Lee and Hoda tried Burner Balm on air. Kathie Lee excitedly reported, "We both said that we did not eat as much. I gave away half my lunch yesterday, which is not like me." Pacific Shore's Vice President Joey Valvo said, "This statement by Kathie Lee led to a spike in sales that lasted the entire day."

Always on the cutting edge of development, PSH, Inc.'s President Matthew Mills and Vice President Joey Valvo teamed up with Dr. Allan Kurtz, Board Certified in Internal Medicine, to create a health-conscious product. Burner Balm contains a trio of natural ingredients that all reduce appetite: Hoodia Extract, Chromium Picolinate and Natural Caffeine, which also restores alertness. Natural Green Tea Extract is added for increased energy and metabolism.

Dr. Kurtz developed this product as a direct response from his patients who continually complained of weight gain and lack of energy. In practice for 25 years, Kurtz realized that he much preferred preventative medicine rather than treating patients battling diseases resulting from obesity. "Oral gratification is the biggest challenge to weight loss so I decided to develop a product that mocks that gratification. The idea of creating an application for the lips met my mission and Burner Balm was born," says Dr. Kurtz.

Dr. David E. Toomey, a Board Certified Family Physician Specialist, was consulted to further develop the formula, making sure that it was safe. Due to the number of blood vessels on the lips, products are more easily absorbed than ingesting a pill that goes straight to the stomach. "It was very important during development that we considered all of the ingredients in our lip balm as seriously as we choose the foods that we eat," says Matthew Mills, CEO of PSH, Inc. and co-founder of Burner Balm.

Chromium Picolinate, one of the breakthrough ingredients, is a popular ingredient that dieticians know well. Chromium is a mineral that humans require in trace amounts. It's found in small quantities in foods such as brewer's yeast, calf liver, whole grains, processed meats and cheese. It has been credited with helping the body process carbohydrates and fats and is marketed as a weight-loss aid for dieters and a cryogenic (muscle-building) aid for bodybuilders and athletes.

Burner Balm is a healthy alternative to energy drinks or energy shots that are loaded with chemicals and sugars. Effective and easy to use, the consumer will appreciate the low cost of Burner Balm at $5.99; Burner Balm lasts three to four weeks when used daily as directed. Compare this to an energy shot and or energy drink ranging in price from $2.49 to $4.99 that only lasts for approximately five hours, this costs consumers anywhere from $75 to $150 a month when used daily, not to mention these products may have too many stimulants when taken internally and do not have any weight loss attributes.

Burner Balm Lip Balm also helps provide a protective barrier from the harsh elements, locking in moisture on the lips, while preventing them from drying out and becoming chapped. It has the essential fatty acids, Shea Butter and Safflower Oil, which are absorbed into the skin, creating soft lips. Burner Balm also has SPF 15 & 30 which protects the lips from the harsh effects of the Sun.

PSH recently launched Burner Balm at an "American Idol-like" open call video shoot on the sand in Santa Monica, CA. Hundreds of models, actors, athletes and everyone in between took part in the kick-off of a worldwide search contest looking for a new face with the HOTTEST, SEXIEST LIPS to represent the product as the new spokesperson. The contest is scheduled to be finalized October 15, 2009 and will be judged by internet users from around the globe on www.youtube.com. For contest details visit www.burnerbalm.com/contest.html.

Burner Balm is currently available online at www.burnerbalm.com and comes in five yummy flavors: Original, Acai Berry, Strawberry, Vanilla and Pomegranate. Burner Balm is also releasing two more powerful "Balms" which have increased levels of the active ingredients Energy-X, (Lemon Lime) and Performance-X, (Orange). Burner Balm products are not recommended for children under 12. It is always suggested that when using any dietary supplements, first consult your physician.

Pacific Shore Holdings, Inc., a multi-divisional corporation, strives to fulfill consumer demands, by manufacturing and distributing low cost niche products that are green, clean and safe.
